TSC Staff Spend Five Days in Chicago at United Soccer Coaches Convention

Posted on: January 21, 2019

Chicago, Illinois - Members of Tennessee Soccer Club (TSC) full and part time staff spend five days in Chicago attending the United Soccer Coaches (USC) Convention, the world's largest gathering of soccer coaches and administrators. Throughout the week, TSC coaches and staff were able to learn from and engage with some of the global leaders in the soccer industry.

The USC Convention brings thousands of soccer coaches and administrators representing all levels of play (youth, college and professional) together to share ideas and best practices. During the Convention there are technical sessions that take place on the field along with sessions held in the classroom for all attendees to learn from. Each year, the MLS Draft and NWSL Draft take place on-site and are open to all attendees to attend.

TSC sends multiple staff members to the convention each year to continue their professional development and education. TSC is a "USC Member Club", which allows the organization and its coaches to receive exclusive access to a multitude of resources and benefits only available to United Soccer Coaches Member Clubs.

The convention takes place in a different location each year. The 2020 convention is scheduled for Baltimore, Maryland. For more information on United Soccer Coaches, please visit www.unitedsoccercoaches.org
