TSC Hosts College Q&A for Boys and Girls Players

Posted on: Tuesday, February 12, 2019

Franklin, Tennessee - Tennessee Soccer Club (TSC) hosted a College Q&A at Battle Ground Academy on Monday, February 11 for all of the club’s recruitable age boys and girls players. College head and assistant coaches representing schools from around the region were in attendance to educate our players and their parents on all-things college soccer.

This Q&A is one component to TSC’s commitment to assisting players find a college program that is good for them. Ronnie Woodard, TSC’s Director of Operations & Member Services, leads this initiative and has put together a well-rounded calendar of events for players and their families pursuing college soccer.

“We want to do all that we can to assist the players in our club who want to play college soccer,” said Woodard. “Hopefully the recruiting seminars, Q&A’s and showcase weekends help guide each player and their family throughout their recruiting process.”

Up next in this commitment to helping players with the college recruiting process is the Girls Showcase Weekend on February 23-24. Over those two days, 20 games will be played by TSC Competitive and ECNL teams in front of dozens of college coaches. All games will take place at Downs Boulevard Fields. TSC plans to replicate this event for the older boys in the Fall 2019 season.
