TSC Celebrates Senior Players Who Sign to Play College Soccer

Posted on: Thursday, February 7, 2019

Franklin, TN - Tennessee Soccer Club (TSC) hosted a Signing Day Celebration on Wednesday, February 6, at Westhaven Country Club to celebrate and recognize the 36 players that signed their National Letter of Intent (NLI) to play college soccer.

The signing players and their families are invited to the event, which consists of a dinner, individual recognition and the presentation of a special gift from TSC. Attendees are also treated with a special video message from TSC alumni who are current college soccer players, where they share advice and well-wishes to the soon-to-be college freshmen.

In total, 36 TSC players signed on the dotted line on National Signing Day, continuing the club's tradition of developing players and assisting them in their search for a college soccer program to call home. An additional six TSC players have received college offers but are still weighing their decisions, bringing the total to 42 senior TSC players who had offers in hand on National Signing Day. These players are attending a variety of schools, with 25 total colleges and universities represented in this year's class.

"We are so proud of this group of players," said TSC Executive Director Stuart Brown. "For the senior players in our program who desire that level of play (college soccer), we are confident we can help them find a good program. The recruiting process can be challenging and we are constantly working to make it as smooth of a process as possible for our players and their families. With seminars, Q&A sessions, College Showcases, etc. throughout the year, it is fun to celebrate with them when that dream of college soccer becomes reality."

TSC expects more senior players to commit throughout the spring 2019. A list of the 42 players is below.
