The purpose of the Quality Training Project is to provide an environment for players to improve the quality of individual performance and decision making, for the greater benefit of enhancing overall team performance. Led by current Belmont Men’s Soccer Assistant Coach and former MLS player Tom Heinemann, The Quality Training Project implements realistic, game-like scenarios that teach players how to make efficient and effective decisions in the final third. It provides each player calculated repetitions inside a small group setting to promote the development of understanding, quality, and confidence in front of goal. The Quality Training Project is a total player development mechanism that teaches players the importance of integrating their technical, tactical, physical, and mental attributes for the betterment of the team.
